How to take a screen shot/ print screen!

Hello everyone!
Today we will learn how to take a screen shot (it is also called print screen), This is the first step to learning how to make stardoll graphics!

Since I'm not all that great at explaining things I went on youtube and found this video:

That was an old video (made in 2009) so obviously paint has changed a bit so to crop your doll just click home on paint and then you should see where it says crop. And wa-la You have learned how to print screen! ~If you have any questions just comment here or contact me on stardoll. (My username is: Lululolliepop63)
Thats all for today, See ya next time!

Talk of today: Stardoll graphics!

Hello everyone!
Today we are going to learn about my favorite thing.... GRAPHICS!
The genre will be stardoll graphics of course!
Before we start any graphics or tutorials you will need to know what supplies you will need.

You will need:
  • A graphics software, I use serif draw plus x3. There are tons out there that you can use, Photoshop, Pixlr (Pixlr is GREAT for starting out and its free and you don't have to download it!), corel painter, Paint.net (Also free but you have to download it, I use this one too!), You can get the free download of serif too but I would recommend pixlr, Because it has basically everything you will need in it, Brush wise, Ect.
  • You will need to know how to take a print screen of your medoll or just your medolls head. (Don't worry if you don't know how to do this, I will be having a tutorial on how to do that this upcoming week!)
  • A mouse and a keyboard. ( You can also use a graphics tablet if you have one, But I do not use one so all of my tutorials will be with a mouse and keyboard.)
  • Also paint comes in handy for cropping print screens of your medoll, Microsoft paint might come in handy too if you have that but paint will work fine! (Do NOT worry if you don't know what I am talking about, We will learn about all of this very soon.)
  • And the last thing you will need is: CREATIVITY! :] Don't worry if your graphics aren't all that shabby or if they look bad, We all have a starting point so don't stress!
  • Oh and you'll need a little bit of patience, Learning to make graphics doesn't happen over night I assure you!
Well that is basically all you will need, Sorry if it sounds like a lot!
Have a graphical day!,
Lilli

Now the paint I was talking about should already be on your computer, Go to search all programs and files of your computer and type in paint, Let it load and you should be able to find it.
